How It Works
Every Papaws LAB keepsake starts in one of two ways: with your pet’s authentic nose impression or with a favorite photo. Follow the process that matches your product.
1. Choose your keepsake
Select a Soul-Map nose print necklace, a Canvas Chronicle portrait, or a Pawtrait Loom rug.
2. Provide the correct source material
Soul-Map nose print jewelry
No pet photo is required. We send a complete at-home kit so you can safely capture your pet’s nose impression. You can finish the DIY keepsake at home or use the Full Artisan Concierge option and follow the included return instructions so our studio can complete the advanced casting, refining, and polishing.
Portraits and rugs
Upload a clear, well-lit photo of your pet on the product page. Close-up headshots work well for portraits and round rugs; full-body photos with a clean outline work best for custom-shape rugs.
3. Review the next step
Portraits and rugs: our studio sends a digital proof for approval before production. Small adjustments to cropping, composition, color tone, or outline can be requested at this stage.
Soul-Map jewelry: DIY kits do not use a digital proof. If studio assistance is selected, we confirm the return and production steps after receiving your impression or kit.
4. Handcrafted and delivered
Portraits and rugs enter production after proof approval. DIY jewelry kits are shipped after order processing. Studio-finished jewelry is inspected, polished, packaged, and shipped after the artisan work is complete. Tracking is emailed when the order is dispatched.
