How to Make It
Step 1 · Capture the Print
Choose a calm moment — after a nap or meal works best. Take equal parts of the two-part mold putty, mix thoroughly, then gently press your pet's nose into the putty and hold until set.
Step 2 · Fill with Silver Clay
Once the mold has set, press silver clay into the impression. Use the water brush to help shape and smooth the clay. Use the silver paste bowl to keep your clay moist while you work.
Step 3 · Fire and Sinter
Place the shaped clay on the firing mesh and fire according to the instructions. This step transforms the silver clay into solid sterling silver.
Step 4 · Polish and Finish
Use the copper wire brush to remove the white layer, then polish with the silver rod and polishing cloth. For an antique look, apply antiquing solution to deepen the print detail.
Step 5 · Assemble and Wear
Attach the pendant to the leather cord using the jump ring. Place it in the jewelry box. You made this. Wear it. Keep it close. Every single day.
